I was born in Italy and now live in Cape Town, South Africa. I developed an early passion for photography, with a focus on travel and landscape imagery. My first solo exhibition, capturing scenes from my travels in Myanmar, was held in Milan when I was 19.
Since then, photography has remained a constant in my life. A passionate hobby, a companion, and a way of seeing. I always have a camera slung over my shoulder, whether I’m close to home or on the road. Since 2023, I’ve worked exclusively with film.
I’m after powerful moments that evoke solitude and calm, perhaps with a touch of eeriness. I’m particularly drawn to night photography and unpredictable weather. Even though people are often absent in my images, I like to think there’s always a human presence, maybe even a reassuring one, lingering just beneath the surface.
