Hi I’m Ahmad, an Iraqi-Australian storyteller. My fascination with photography began at a very young age experimenting with disposable cameras. Photography to me is a mode of expression, a portal in time and a way to convey my stories visually. My work aims to showcase surreal natural landscapes, unique destinations and cinematic scenery from a bygone era. A good photograph will speak to you, alter your consciousness and leave you in a state of contemplation.
Here are a few fleeting moments, captured on 35mm film.
